Julie took part in the last Paralympics, and at only 13 she was the youngest team member on the Team GB Sitting Volleyball squad. But this year she’s taking the huge step to switch sports and begin competing as a sprinter. She has to acquire and learn to use a running blade – can she manage this difficult transition and get closer to her dream of competing in Rio?
Hattie really struggled to come to terms with losing the use of her legs; she thought her life was over. Discovering her talent for archery changed her life – but it’s far from easy. She’s been accepted on the Team GB Archery Development Squad, but to stay there she needs to keep improving her physical and mental strength.
