We’re thrilled to announce that CTVC is delivering BFI Film Academy London, the new BFI Film Academy Hub for young people across London. 

Supported by the UK Government and National Lottery funding, we’re working with delivery partners across London’s film, TV, training and youth sectors to help young people aged 16–25 explore careers in film and TV, build practical skills, meet people working in the industry and discover what comes next. 

Having previously delivered 43 BFI Film Academy courses, we’re incredibly proud to be part of the next chapter of BFI Film Academy in London. 

There are lots of ways to get involved throughout the year: 

Year-round activity – ages 16–25
Register with BFI Film Academy London to hear about workshops, events, industry engagement and other opportunities taking place throughout the year. 

Introductory Courses – ages 16–19
Free, hands-on courses where young people can explore filmmaking, develop practical skills, meet industry professionals and create their own work. Applications will open later this year. 

Alumni opportunities – ages 16–25
For young people who have previously taken part in a BFI Film Academy course, with opportunities to stay connected, develop skills, meet industry professionals and explore what’s next. 

We want BFI Film Academy London to be a welcoming and accessible space for young people from across the capital. Support is available for access needs, with travel and childcare bursaries available to help remove barriers to participation.
