Christmas Carol Service X 2

The concert - which was broadcast on Christmas Eve - featured a number of famous faces who support CHASE including PR guru Max Clifford and Ashes to Ashes actress Keeley Hawes. The hour long programme encompasses the true spirit of Christmas, with wonderful carols and readings, along with providing a valuable insight into how children’s hospices care for and support families on their journey with their life limited child.

365 days of the year, CHASE provides support to families with children who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday across South West London, Surrey and Sussex.

Laura Powell, whose son Ethan is supported by CHASE and has celebrated Christmas at the CHASE hospice, said: “We enjoy the breaks we have at Christopher’s, it gives the family a real boost being able to spend time all together with support for Ethan’s complex caring needs. The staff are fantastic and we feel so at home here, it’s a lovely way to celebrate Christmas.”

I am always moved by the dedication and love the staff and care teams are able to offer families, and Christmas is the perfect time to not only share that love and happiness, but to celebrate making every day count for so many incredible children. I hope people will watch and gain an insight into just what incredible places children’s hospices are.
