BFI Academy 2020/2021

We are looking for committed, talented young people between the ages of 16 and 19 to be a part of our HULL or LONDON BFI Film Academy 2020/2021. No formal qualifications are needed – just a passion for film!

This will be delivered by us at CTVC, in partnership with the British Film Institute. We are a BAFTA award winning TV, Radio and Digital production company.

As a BFI Film Academy participant, you will work with filmmakers and take part in a series of masterclasses and workshops with BAFTA and OSCAR nominated and winning industry professionals, and hear their top tips on how to get into and succeed in the film industry. You’ll discuss films from around the world and learn more about distributing, marketing and financing films.  You will also produce your own films that will be screened in front of friends and family via Zoom.

As part of the LONDON and HULL courses you will produce a short animation piece with BAFTA award winning Mew Lab, and a live action film.

Our courses will be 100% online. We will provide all necessary equipment, including access to broadband.
