7/7 REMEMBERED

1x120'
ITV
July 2006

One year on from the 7/7 bomb attacks on London , Sir Trevor McDonald presents a two-hour special honouring the memories of those who died and paying tribute to those struggling to rebuild their lives.
Centred on a multi-faith remembrance service from St. Pancras Parish church, close to the scene of two of the bombs, the programme looks at how in the midst of grief, people have come together to try and heal divisions and heal broken lives.
"7/7 Remembered" includes interviews with the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster and the Bishop of London, follows bomb-victim Martine Wright who lost both legs in the tragedy as she learns to live with her injuries, and hears from Marie Fatayi-Williams, who in grieving for her dead son, found the inspiration to launch an organisation to help build understanding between Christians and Muslims.
