As Head of New Media and Education for CTVC, Louisa is responsible for the award winning education site TrueTube, the film-training wing Boldface Productions, as well as broadband content across the company; she is passionate about the power that film and film-making has to change minds and lives. She came to CTVC, following a prestigious Fellowship from the Clore Foundation supported by the Wellcome Trust, after over a decade spent in commercial public service broadcasting. As a Commissioning Editor at Channel 4, she commissioned award-winning programmes for broadcast and theatrical release across Science, History and Arts including ‘Shadow of the Moon’, ‘Human Footprint’ and ‘Feral Children’ which gave birth to the Bodyshock strand. Prior to that she was Managing Editor for Discovery UK, though she cut her TV teeth in arts and worked as a Producer on the South Bank Show. She is also a writer, and a Non-Executive Director of Advertising Standards Authority.
