Education
In 2007, we also moved into on-line publishing and production, creating TrueTube.co.uk, an award winning educational website that provides free multimedia resources for the teachers of RE, PSHE and Citizenship. It provides hundreds of short films made by young people to inform and encourage debate in the classroom, and a range of lesson plans and assembly plans to help teachers engage their students in meaningful learning experiences.
Training
In 2008, with funding from V, we expanded this project and launched a mobile film and media training programme in youth groups, communities and schools across the country.
Boldface, our community media unit, enables teenagers to express themselves, develop their skills, and improve their life chances through film-making.
Our Mission
Our aim is to produce work, whether for broadcast, schools or communities, which has social value and moral purpose; We believe in the power of media to educate, challenge and inspire.
