On The Fifth Column
Bloody Sunday remembered...
... on its 40th anniversary –
In 10 exclusive and dramatic interviews, we hear from Catholics and Protestants who experienced Bloody Sunday first-hand, among them perpetrators as well as victims of the violence.
CTVCs latest website, The Fifth Column, hosts original, thought-provoking podcasts and audio blogs on topical and controversial issues. It features contributions from some of the most respected names in British journalism, as well as showcasing new talents.
This year CTVC sponsored the Grierson ‘CTVC Best Newcomer Documentary’ Award which was won by Shabash Production, Bungalow Town Productions for Storyville: Afghan Cricket Club – Out of the Ashes (BBC4). It traces the extraordinary journey of a team of young Afghan men as they chase a seemingly impossible dream, shedding light on a nation beyond burqas, bombs, drugs and devastation.
Across our broadcast, new media, education and training activities, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and we strive to access the widest pool of creative talent in order to help make CTVC more diverse.
We create award winning content spanning genres from features, factual and current affairs to arts and drama. We also produce inspiring educational videos and resources and train young people from a range of backgrounds to make outstanding films on issues that matter to them.
